Imagine that by your side right now is a large, heavy vat. Now, imagine that every single gram of your excess body fat was drained out of your tissues and dripped into that bucket.
Take a moment to truly see it. The colour is a sickly, lumpy yellow-white, like old chicken fat that has been left out too long. The consistency is thick, greasy, and heavy. If you were to lean over that bucket, the smell would be pungent and disgusting.
This is the energy your body is carrying. Your subconscious mind currently views this bucket as a "survival reserve." When you embark on a restrictive diet, your brain senses a "famine" and effectively locks the lid on that bucket. It slows your metabolism, increases your hunger hormones, and makes you obsessed with high-calorie foods to "protect" you. This is why you feel tired, irritable, and eventually give up.
As a Qualified Nutritional Therapist, I know that you cannot unlock the "Fat Bucket" if your chemistry is in chaos. If your blood sugar is constantly spiking and crashing, your body is flooded with Insulin—the primary fat-storage hormone.
